Position:  Business Director - CFO

Overall Job Description:  Manage a team to complete a project.  You will be required to see the “big picture” in order to plan, organize and motivate your team members.   You will be expected to know and report on the progress of all the members of your team at all times.

You will be accountable for making sure the group meets the following requirements:
  • maintaining and updating the physical copies of time and design plans
  • keeping the Project Task Organizer up to date
  • meeting all deadlines and milestones
  • maintaining positive on-task behaviour and problem solve as required
  • keeping statistics and records including attendance, time accounted for, money budgeted, materials, cost, science experiment records (tables, graphs) and other project information
  • keeping and organize all drawings, prototypes, sketches, designs and material lists
  • negotiating and trading with other groups for expertise, materials, etc. where appropriate/necessary

Position:  Engineer - CTO


Overall Job Description:  Engineer the creating of the machine.  You will be required to create the main parts of the pinball machine and ensure that it works properly.  


You will be accountable for making sure the group meets the following requirements:
  • verifying the game design measurements
  • designing and creating the physical game parts including the case, ramp, flippers, plunger and playing surface
  • completing electrical work (lighting circuits, buttons, sensors, makeymakey, power supply, etc.)
  • 3D printing decorative and mechanical components
  • performing quality assurance, field testing, respond to user input

Overall Job Description:  Promote and document your team’s work.  You will be required to use technology and traditional forms of media to communicate with other teams, staff and the public at large.


You will be accountable for making sure the group meets the following requirements:
  • promoting your project using social media, posters, newsletters and other media
  • creating and managing a twitter account on behalf of your team to communicate your group’s progress
  • taking and managing photos/videos to document your project
  • documenting and reflecting on your team’s progress by creating a blog and making regular posts  on behalf of the team
  • writing any necessary communications on behalf of the team

Overall Job Description:  Design the creative aspects of the game based on the team’s History/Geography based inquiry.  You will be required to design aspects of the game and promotional materials.  

You will be accountable for making sure the group meets the following requirements:
  • designing the physical layout of the game
  • designing the game rules  
  • designing the digital aspects of the game
  • designing promotional material for your team (logos)
  • designing the graphic art for the game (case, ramp, etc.)
  • drafting game blueprints (orthographic views, 3D views)
  • 3D printing objects design
  • designing prototypes
  • designing electronics

Candidates should be strong in the following areas:
